Effective October 13, 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Syed Naqvi, doing business as FutureQR, California, USA ("FutureQR", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using FutureQR, you agree to them. If you use FutureQR for a business, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
Short version: you own your content and you are responsible for it: your links, logos, designs and printed materials. We run the service carefully, but we cannot guarantee it is perfect, and our liability is limited. Please read section 13 about how disputes are handled.
FutureQR makes static QR codes and dynamic QR codes. A dynamic code points to a short link on futureqr.app that you can change later. Static codes are made in your browser and do not depend on us after you download them.
You must be at least 18 and give a real email. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for all activity on your account. If you think someone else got in, change your password right away. This signs you out on every other device. We also recommend turning on two-factor sign-in.
"Your content" means everything you put into FutureQR: destination links, code names, logos, colors, designs, and anything your codes point to. You are solely responsible for your content and for how you use your codes. In particular, you promise that:
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited permission to store, copy, process and display it only as needed to run FutureQR for you. We do not review destinations before they go live and we are not responsible for the content of any page a code points to.
Do not use FutureQR to:
We may disable a code, remove content, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts people at risk. For clear abuse we may act without notice; otherwise we tell you first when we can. Codes disabled for abuse are not covered by our "printed codes keep working" promise.
Cancel anytime online. See the refund policy: 30-day money back on your first payment. When Pro ends, your codes keep working and you return to Free.
You can stop using FutureQR at any time. We may end these terms or close your account if you break them, or if the law requires it. Sections 3, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 continue after your account ends.
If FutureQR ever closes, we will give at least 90 days' notice and an export of all your codes and destinations.
FutureQR is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We work hard to keep every code online, but we do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that every code will scan on every device, or that scan counts and places are exact. Scan places are approximate and bots may be filtered imperfectly.
To the fullest extent the law allows: (a) FutureQR is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or printing and reprinting costs, even if we were told they might happen; and (b) our total liability for any claim about FutureQR is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless FutureQR and Syed Naqvi from any claims, losses, damages, fines, and reasonable legal fees that come from your content, the pages your codes point to, your use of FutureQR, or your breaking these terms or the law. We will tell you about any such claim and may choose to handle our own defense.
FutureQR relies on providers such as Cloudflare (hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). Their outages or terms are outside our control, and we are not liable for them. Payments are also covered by Stripe's terms.
If a FutureQR code points to something harmful, or uses your copyright or trademark without permission, email hello@futureqr.app with the short link, what is wrong, and your contact details. We review every report.
Most problems can be fixed with an email. Before starting any legal claim, contact hello@futureqr.app and give us 60 days to try to resolve it.
If we cannot, any dispute about FutureQR or these terms will be settled by binding individual arbitration under the American Arbitration Association's consumer rules, not in court, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or ask a court to stop infringement of intellectual property. Claims may only be brought individually, not as a class or representative action, and neither side gets a jury trial. You can opt out of this arbitration section by emailing us within 30 days of first agreeing to these terms.
California law applies, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court case allowed under these terms will be in the state or federal courts in Santa Clara County, California.
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using FutureQR after that means you accept the new terms.
These terms, the privacy policy and the refund policy are the whole agreement between us. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given up the right to. You may not transfer your account without our written consent; we may transfer these terms if FutureQR is sold or becomes a company, and we will tell you. Neither side is liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control. We may send notices to your account email.
